About 14 years ago Scott Riccio, owner of Northeast Charter & Tour had an idea. You could say it started with a seedling. 35 to be exact. Knowing that all good trees come from the great state of Maine, he ventured into the woods and planted his idea. This year each of the employees of Northeast Charter and Tour are feeling the effects of a homegrown gift this Christmas season.
“It has been a labor of love, we enjoy being in the woods and checking on our trees each year. One day, knowing that this idea would bring joy to many Northeast Charter families has brought us a lot of excitement over the years.”
Yesterday the crew ventured into the woods and harvested the 35 trees that were planted not long after the companies start. Today happy Northeast Charter & Tour families are stopping to pick up their Christmas Trees.
