It’s official! Northeast Charter and Tour has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Maine. Here at NECT, great company culture, extraordinary training, and top-notch benefits for our employees are just what we do. One of our most important endeavors is to provide our employees with a great place to work, and we’re so excited and grateful to be recognized for our efforts.
This award comes from a statewide survey and awards program that was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Maine, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. We feel privileged to have been nominated and selected as one of the best.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Maine. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Maine, and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
Our employees can expect a workplace where they feel at home when they walk through the doors. From the events we throw for our employees like our annual BBQ and lobster bake, Christmas party to the leadership and on-the-job driver training we provide, we strive to make it easy to thrive here.
