10 Jan NECT Strong
Fort Lauderdale in January never seems like a bad idea when the snow is piling higher and higher here in the Northeast. Northeast Charter and Tour had the opportunity to take our team to two different industry show’s this last week and we could have not been happier with our experience. Those in attendance were: Scott A.Riccio President, owner, founder; Larry Allen, Assistant GM; Ronald Fowler, Safety and Compliance officer; Tyler Maiura, Operations Manager; Tim Turcotte, driver, trainer; Jim Wurgler, Shop Foreman; Paul Pelletier jr, Facilities and Maint Manager; Galen, driver; Sampson, our coach driver competing at the UMA International Driver Competition.
We started off at the IMG Maintenance and Safety Forum where our team participated in group discussions and lectures on how to better each and every facet of our safety and maintenance programs and we had the opportunity to share with 57 other motorcoach operators around the country and into Canada what we are doing and where were are finding successes.
IMG is a group of world-class motorcoach operators that maintain immaculate fleets, have strong business ethics and wonderful drivers and programs. When you #GoIMG you are truly choosing the best group transportation company around.
Our next show stop led us to the annual United Motorcoach Expo. Our team was able to participate in many different events including the driver competition where our very own Sampson participated. We attended courses taught on up and coming technologies, driver retention, business development, marketing and so much more. The on-floor expo exposed us to new products for our coaches and customers to help us grow to the next level.
We are proud of the great presence and strength our team brought to these industry shows and are excited to see all of the new products, techniques and ideas implemented into our business in this coming year. #NECTSTRONG
