Northeast Charter 2018 Driver of the Year

Northeast Charter 2018 Driver of the Year

December 2017, Northeast Charter President Scott Riccio announced the beginnings of a Driver Competition that would result in the winning driver and a guest being flown, all expenses paid, to Ft Lauderdale FL in January of 2019.  The winning driver earned a spot to compete in the United Motor Coach Association International Driver Competition where top drivers from all over North America would come and compete in a skills and knowledge competition.  Many criteria were considered when choosing the Northeast Family’s representative.  Performance factors like Speed Monitoring, Idle Time, Accident and Equipment Damage responsibility, Attendance, Customer Service Feedback, Hours Worked and Miles Travelled.  Out of a pool of 55 charter drivers, one individual out performed all others on the year.  Receiving 100% marks in both the Driver Incentive Program as well as the Accident and Damage Free Program, it is with great pleasure that we announce the

2018 Driver of the Year Award to

                                 Chris Sampson

Sampson, as he prefers to be called, will fly to Ft Lauderdale the first week of January (not a bad time or place to be in FL representing your company…) and will spend time exploring the trade show floor as well as participating in the UMA International Driver Competition on January 8th.
