31 Jan It feels good to do good…
That is a pretty common feeling here amongst our Northeast Family. Each December at our annual Northeast Charter Christmas party, our Northeast employees and their families raise funds to help others. We recently returned from a visit to The Store Next Door project at Lewiston High School. The space they have been able to carve out for themselves in the basement is small, to say the least, but the love and care coming out of that place is amazing to witness. They serve 300 HOMELESS students each year. On this day, they shared with us that there are 69 verified homeless students currently.
69 homeless… in January.
So if our family here at Northeast can help The Store Next Door Project, we are happy to do so… because it feels good to do good.
If you have the ability to help the homeless youth in our area, please do so by checking them out on Facebook and sharing their message. https://www.facebook.com/SNDLHS/
