10 Mar Keeping our team and passengers healthy…
How we prepare to combat the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses, germs, and bacteria.
Northeast Charter has always taken steps to ensure our customer’s safety by providing a clean and sanitary charter fleet. It has been our policy to clean and sanitize our vehicles after every charter assignment. Long ago, we made sure that our vehicles had additional cleaning supplies on board so they could be maintained throughout the course of our client’s use. We have Hand Sanitizers located at the front of every vehicle for use after boarding as well as in the Lavatory. Our Lavatories are disinfected after every use and our drivers even take steps to sanitize them when our groups are not on board. We have Lysol Disinfectant spray that we use on all hard surfaces and even the seats. We have Lysol Disinfectant wipes to additionally ensure that all hard surfaces are treated and wiped clean. We wash the insides of the windows with ammonia-based cleaners to make sure they are crystal clean for our passengers.
None of these steps are new for us. But in response to the outbreak of COVID-19, we have added additional time and quality controls throughout our wash bay and cleaning staff. We have ordered more supplies and will be sure that our vehicles are fully stocked for a 10 hour trip to Boston or a 7-day tour to Washington, DC. We are providing our employees with additional training as it relates to personal protective gear and personal sanitary habits like using rubber gloves while cleaning and washing hands often.
